Sumner Stroh Apologized to Behati Prinsloo in a New TikTok

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Sumner Stroh, the self-described Instagram model who ignited a firestorm of scandal when she revealed an alleged affair between herself and Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine, has posted a second TikTok to further elaborate on her story, as well as to apologize for the harm she may have caused.

Responding to a comment that says, “It’s no secret [Levine has] been married for a while. The only victim here is his wife and children,” Stroh basically agreed, while explaining her thinking at the time of the alleged affair. In the video, she says that when she made her initial TikTok revealing their interactions (Levine has since confirmed the “flirtatious” DMs are real but denied the affair), she was trying to get ahead of an upcoming tabloid story leaked by a friend, which is why it’s not as thorough or nuanced as she might have liked.

To the “everyone knew he was married” point, Stroh alleges that Levine told her the marriage was over and that she believed him out of naivete. In hindsight, she says, Levine was manipulating her, a sentiment she touched on in her first video, in which she said she felt “exploited.”

However, Stroh does not consider herself the victim of the situation. “I’m not the one getting hurt in this. It’s Behati and her children,” Stroh says. “And for that, I’m so, so sorry.” Prinsloo is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child.

Watch the young woman explain it in her own words here:

Crucially, Stroh claims that she is the one who ended the affair when she found out that Levine and Prinsloo were not splitting up. Stroh and Levine’s most recent interaction came after months of no contact, when Levine asked Sumner Stroh’s opinion on potentially naming his unborn child Sumner.
